We provide affordable high performance hosting services - together with exceptional customer support - to help people like you succeed online.

Our story (in short!)

It all started back in 2003.

Aged just 15, Darren (our founder) looked after a handful of sites for friends and family.

As traffic started to pick up he noticed that performance became flaky. It was at that point he started his hunt for hosting that would keep his sites online around the clock.

After months of research, it became clear there were only two types of hosting available: high performance hosting with an equally high price tag, and low cost hosting with questionable uptime and virtually non-existent support.

Affordable high performance hosting didn’t seem to exist.

Frustrated at what the UK hosting market had to offer, Darren decided to go it alone. He purchased his first Dedicated Server and Tsohost was born.

Since then, Tsohost has grown from strength to strength and are now one of the UK's fastest growing hosting companies.

Our key milestones

2004

We become a Nominet accredited registrar for .UK domains.

2006

Alongside ticket support, we launch free telephone support for each and every customer. ZestHost.com a US based web hosting provider joins the Tsohost family.

2007

We open a private data centre suite in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The whole team relocate to be close by.

2008

Tsohost 'Cloud Hosting' and 'Hybrid Cluster' services launch.

2009

We launch our industry leading backup system. All customer data is now securely backed up once a day.

2010

To support accelerated growth we expand email support hours to 24x7x365.

2011

Tsohost becomes a founding member of Paragon Internet Group, one of the UK's fastest growing hosting groups.

We acquired Hostroute, a US based hosting brand established in 2001.

Our data centre facilities become 100% carbon neutral.

We join the London Internet Exchange (LINX), improving the performance and reliability of the company's multiple data connections.

2012

Tsohost signs a £6.5 million deal to expand its data centre presence to Equinix (Slough), significantly expanding and improving connectivity between its existing 3 data centres.

To help maintain the exceptional level of support, we welcome 20 new support agents to the Tsohost team.

Thanks to the scalable nature of the cloud, we starts offering Free Charity Cloud Hosting to all UK registered charities.

2013

We build and launch our first fully-owned, state-of-the-art Tier 3+ 2N data centre in Slough.

The 'Tsohost University' training programme launches to assist in helping us maintain a superior level of customer support.

To be closer to the physical hardware, the whole team packs up and relocates to a brand new office, just above the new data centre.

We celebrate our 10th year in the hosting industry: there’s cake, streamers and a whole lot of fun.

2014

The new Tsohost migration team is founded, offering assisted migrations for those looking to move to Tsohost.

Tsohost becomes a Nominet Accredited Channel Partner, so domain ownership details can now be changed directly with Tsohost, rather than needing to go through Nominet.

We open a second office in Sofia, Bulgaria.

2015

Singapore becomes the first data centre location outside the UK. Dedicated Server customers can now host their environment in Singapore.

2017

Let’s Encrypt is fully supported on Cloud Hosting plans, allowing all customer to protect their site with a SSL for free.

Live chat support is launched between 9am and midnight, everyday.

Due to popular demand we expand live chat support hours to 7am to midnight.
