Introducing Dimitar B from tsoHost's support team

Today, we’re celebrating National Customer Service Week with an interview with Dimitar B.

Dimitar works with the tsoHost clients that have a few more bespoke requirements, like those with custom-made servers, for example.

His areas of expertise include server monitoring, load mitigation, WordPress, Joomla, PrestaShop, Magento error investigation and resolution and Windows support.

He sums up his role by saying ‘We are here to provide the best possible service for our clients and make their lives and businesses easier’.

What are the top three things you enjoy about working in customer support at tsoHost?
  1. Helping our customers with any issues that they are facing, especially the complicated ones.

  2. The happiness of customers when an issue that they have been facing has been resolved.

  3. I love the atmosphere, the energy and just how different the experience is every single day.
What qualities do you believe you have to have to be able to succeed in customer support?

One of the main qualities I have is that I am able to put myself in our customers’ shoes, to understand them and their struggles, needs and goals.

What’s the most helpful thing you’ve ever done for a customer?

When I first started working at the company there was a lady who had an issue with her WordPress website. Something had happened and the theme was broken. No usual fix worked, so I went the extra mile and edited the code of the theme for her and then the website started working again.

What is the best bit of feedback you’ve had from a customer?

After stopping a DDoS attack, a customer once told me that he was really really happy with the responsiveness and that the accountability that we take when working on a case is just amazing. Long story short, we laughed together on the phone once the issue was resolved and it was an amazing experience.

Do you have any personal items on your desk?

I actually have a few. One of them is headphones. I love music, so whenever I work, I constantly listen to it. The second is a coffee mug with a Joker picture on it. Currently, as we are working from home, on my desk there is constantly a bouncy ball, since my dog Bailey is bringing it to me all day long.

How do you relax when you’re not in work?

I am keen on music and computer games. When I am not working, I am either gaming or I am cruising with my dog, visiting places we have not visited before.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Well, I have been dancing almost half my life. One type is Bulgarian traditional dancing (for almost 12 years) and breakdancing for about three years.

What’s a fun fact about you?

Since I love music, I recently started learning how to create electronic music. Something that not many people know.

What achievement are you most proud of?

I have the dream job!
