Our final National Customer Care Week Q&A with Pavel K

It’s the final day of National Customer Care Week today and the last of our series of interviews with tsoHost support team members is with Pavel K.

Pavel plays an important role in the phone support team at tsoHost.

A typical day can see him doing everything from password resets to technical troubleshooting.

He believes that having a passion for helping people and the ability to pay attention to the fine details of support requests are key to working in care.

What do you enjoy most about working in care?

Working in this position gives you the chance to help small and medium businesses grow online, so being able to help them in that is the thing I like the most.

When have you felt proudest in your role?

A while ago I had a customer who had a small website that he was about to give up on.

He had his own unique beard oil formula that he was trying to sell online, but the way the site was set up was not bringing in any results.

Somehow this person had forgotten how far he had come and how much effort he was about to throw away, so this was a big red flag for me.

We started a discussion about how things could be improved and after that he decided to give it another try. Today he is still selling his products, which makes me feel proud to be part of the revival of his business.

What’s your favourite thing to do in your role?

My favourite part of what I do in this role is to show the door of opportunities to clients. Nowadays the internet is everything and if our customers are looking to be successful online, they need someone to show them the right way.

What are your areas of expertise?

Within the last four years working in the industry I’ve gathered experience in multiple areas from domain investing and website security to SEO tools.

What is your favourite tsoHost product? Why?

These days it has become easy to build a website and put it online but keeping it safe and secure is a challenge. Therefor my favourite tsoHost product is our online guardian aka ‘Sucuri Website Security’. It’s that part of the online investment that helps you relax and focus on your core business rather than the technical prat of it.

Do you have any personal items on your desk? If so, what are they?

I like to keep it nice and clean so there are only three – a notebook, pen and espresso cup.

How do you relax when you’re not in work?

Different sport activities help me relax a lot. I love going out in the nature and also going to the beach always helps.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I love chilies!

What’s your idea of a perfect weekend?

As long as the weekend makes you smile it can be considered as perfect no matter what or where you are.

What achievement are you most proud of?

I got the chance to be awarded with first place in the “Luminary Awards” (prestigious internal company awards) for the period of 2018-2019 in Barcelona. Still, that is the best moment of my life!
