How long does it take to set up a Cloud Web Hosting package?
You will be up and running almost instantly. In some cases it can take a couple of days to register a domain and point it to your hosting package.
Can you move my website from my existing provider?
Yes, we are able to take care of the move for you. Each Cloud Web Hosting package has a free website migration allocation ranging from 1 - 10 free migrations. Take a look at our migrations page for details.
Can I buy Cloud Web Hosting without a domain name?
Yes, of course. If you're purchasing a hosting package that includes a free domain registration and would like to use an existing domain that is hosted elsewhere as your primary domain, you can transfer it to us. During the checkout process for your hosting package, click through to add a domain to your cart when prompted to. Search for your domain and click ‘Taken - Transfer domain for free’. If eligible for free transfer, reductions will be shown in the cart.
If you do not know your domain yet, you can also decide later. Our hosting platform is designed to be flexible enough to not require a 'primary domain name'.
Can I point my domain names I have with other registrars to you?
Yes, simply set your domain to point to our nameservers.
Once changed, it can take 48 hours to update the DNS entry.
What happens if I exceed my bandwidth allowance?
We will notify you by email with instructions on how to upgrade when you reach 80, 90, 95 and 100% of your bandwidth allowance. If you choose not to upgrade you risk your site being taken offline.
However, we will not take your site offline without giving you ample warning and chance to act first. To clarify, on our Cloud hosting, a sudden burst of traffic that takes you to 100% usage will not take your site offline.
Is there a minimum contract period?
No, we do not tie our clients into contracts. If you would like to move away from us you are able to cancel your service at any point. We even have a 60 day moneyback guarantee on all our shared hosting, should you be unhappy for any reason.
Can I upgrade and downgrade my Cloud Web Hosting package?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your package at any point. If you would like to upgrade or downgrade your hosting package please contact our support team.
Before downgrading please be aware and prepare for the different resource allocations of each package. For example, if you downgrade from a Profesional package to a Standard package, your mailbox allocation will decrease from 100 to 25 mailboxes. You would need to cater for this change by deleting mailboxes.
There is no penalty for upgrading later, we will just charge you the difference in price over the time remaining.
