Today we chat to Evgeni A as part of our ongoing celebration of National Customer Service Week.

Evgeni believes that the most important quality in a customer service team member is understanding.

He says: ‘It is the core of everything that comes with being a good care agent’.

What are the top three things you enjoy about working in customer support at tsoHost?

My colleagues, learning how to communicate with various people from various backgrounds, and the diversity of the job.

What’s the most helpful thing you’ve ever done for a customer?

Around a year ago a client came on chat and asked me to fix a custom website. It was far from a default WordPress issue. I had a time-limit as well, as the customer was supposed to present the website in an important meeting, so in the 25 minutes that were available to me, I tried and succeeded.

What is the best bit of feedback you’ve had from a customer?

The best feedback was really simple actually. I remember a client named Liz once told me "You are a great person, please stay as you are", and it stuck with me.

When have you felt proudest in your role?

When it was my turn to teach new people in the job.

What is the most challenging thing you’ve had to do in your role?

The most challenging thing is finding a parking slot in front of the building.

How do you relax when you’re not in work?

I read manga, go on random drives around my city, or just play games with my friends.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I have practiced about eight different sports throughout my life.

What’s your idea of a perfect weekend?

Watching Premier League football with my friends.

What achievement are you most proud of?

Getting into the Bulgarian national field hockey team and playing on a high club level.
