Mezzanine Build

This week we started and quickly finished phase 3 of the data centre build. The builders mentioned that it wouldn't take long to build the 9,000 sq ft mezzanine, but we never imagined it would take just two days to build the huge Meccano like structure.
The new top floor is supported by 56 steel pillars and will eventually be used as additional office space (after we convince the pigeons that have taken up residency to leave!) The 56 well placed pillars have allowed ample space on the ground floor for 130 racks and additional space for the cold aisle containment to be installed (more info on this to follow).
