Tsohost Data Centre: One Year On

The 10th of December is a special day for us all at Tsohost; one year ago our very first Tier 3+ 2N Data Centre was launched at our headquarters in Slough! This year long, multi-million pound project gave us extended control over our network, helping us maintain our promise of unparalleled hosting.

Now and then: the Data Centre today compared to when we started building work in May 2013

• Over 12 miles of high quality cabling
• Advanced real-time monitoring system
• Powered entirely by renewable energy
• Power Usage Efficiency score of 1.3
• Room temperature maintained within 5&degC window

Having our own Data Centre gives us complete control of our whole customer experience, from the hosting environment right down to the power infrastructure. This has enabled us to maintain high levels of service and up-time even through periods of exponential growth

What Next?

With all our systems now 'in house', our Network Engineers have begun rolling out a whole series of network upgrades. Over the next year we'll be improving all of our server hardware and systems, to keep your sites running lightning fast.
